The purpose of this website is twofold. First, it is a one-stop location for the defense of the King James Bible. There are many excellent websites that defend the KJB, but the goal of this site is to save the novice time by supplying basic information on the subject.

The Christian who is first exposed to the debate over the KJB is at a loss as to what the fuss is all about…Aren’t all translations essentially the same?…Isn’t the KJB archaic and hard to read?…‘My Pastor believes the Bible is the Word of God and he uses a different version’…Don’t you have to know Hebrew and Greek to really understand the Bible?…Isn’t it the message that matters and not the words?

These questions are at the root of the issue. The real question is does it matter what Bible I read? Most Christians believe it makes no difference. They have been deceived into thinking that all translations are the same; some better, some worse, depending on the theological makeup of the translators (liberal or conservative). The ‘old’ King James is being slowly replaced with ‘modern’ bibles, which are, according to the translators, easier to understand. Thus, most Christians do not even know that there is an issue over the Bible! Indeed, very few know the facts regarding the KJB and the attempts to replace it with corrupt translations.

Christian Resources Online

It is our hope that this website and the information that we provide will be a convenient source to show the Christian both the seriousness of the struggle and the facts that support the KJB as the pure words of God in English.

“Every word of God is pure…” (Proverbs 30:5)

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16)

The second purpose of the website is, as this web site’s name indicates, to expound the Plan of God. Christianity today, as we enter the last days, has lost sight of its glorious future…

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:16-17)

It is for this reason that we are commanded to look forward to our eternal reward…

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:1-2)

Today’s Church, in affluent America at least, is very content with the things of this world. The promise of the return of Christ for His Church is mostly ignored by Christians today…

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

This promise was given so we could rejoice in the fact that there would be one generation of Christians who would be snatched away, never to die, to reunite with Christians who had died, and to be always in the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ…

“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

Yet, the average Christian finds no comfort in these words; rather he has become indifferent to them. Indeed, most Christians are not being taught that God has a wonderful Plan that is being worked out. Heaven has become just a vague abstraction. But it is very real…

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-2)

It is our prayer that the website will be able to rekindle the excitement that eternity should hold for the Christian.

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4: 18)

INFORMATION BITS

Theology Proper:
A category of study within systematic theology; it denotes the study of the nature and existence of God.

Revelation

The word revelation is derived from the Greek word apokalupsis, which means 'disclosure' or 'unveiling.' Hence, revelation signifies God unveiling Himself to mankind.
